Hair Transplant Scar Concealment Using SMP — Palm Beach County
Hair transplant scars — both FUT strip scars and FUE dot scars — can be dramatically reduced in visibility using scalp micropigmentation. At Apex we help clients feel free from the self-consciousness that transplant scars can cause.

How SMP Conceals Transplant Scars
FUT strip scars run horizontally across the back of the head and can be very visible when hair is short. FUE dot scars appear as small circular marks across the donor area. SMP conceals both types by depositing pigment into and around the scar tissue, blending it with the surrounding scalp. The scar does not disappear entirely but becomes significantly less visible — most people at conversational distance cannot detect it.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Anyone with healed hair transplant scars who wants to reduce their visibility is a good candidate. Scars should be at least 12 months old and fully healed before SMP treatment. Both FUT and FUE scars can be treated. Multiple prior transplant procedures are not a barrier.
Other Scars We Treat
Beyond transplant scars we also treat injury scars, surgical scars, burn scars, and other trauma-related scalp scarring. Results vary depending on the type, age, and texture of the scar. Your free consultation will give you a realistic assessment of what SMP can achieve for your specific scar.
